Gary G. catches up on e-mail; Part 2

I find the fact that there is a Kopin Corporation very frightening.
Although...

It might not be a bad idea for gary Groo, owbner of Groos Shoes, to sell his
business and invest all of his kopins into Kopin Corporation and see what
happens! Yeah, that's what he should do!

Hey J!

Kaytee & Dana give VERY good advice. How you want to approach the Con and
how much it will all cost depends on your own situation, of course. You
defintely want to buy the ticket for the whole Con in advance and if you
can, get there for the Wed. preview if for no other reason so you can get in
the other days quicker.

The Con is not expensive unless you want to buy original art. It's
Transportation to the Con, Housing, and Food that are expensive. Nothing
much you can do about transportation if you live any distance away. Housing
can be reasonable if you get a room through the Con as Dana described and
then even cheap if you share with some other Groopies like I did with Dougie
or stay at a hostel. As for food, don't buy anything at the Con. Ralphs is
just a few blockes away, they have a great deli and you can pay grocery
store prices for stuff. When I'm there by myself I live on bagels, orange
jiuce and chocalate milk for a few days (and Dougie's donuts!)

Of course, when the Long Suffering Mrs. G. is with me, I pay for a whole
room and we eat decently. So it costs a lot more. The Hotels have realy,
really started gouging lately. (Like $250 per night, min. 3 nights at the
Days Inn) You MUST plan ahead to avoid such a travesty.

Oh, and I checked oput the Smurf Collector site. And people say I'm
crazy....
