[Groop] Groo # 97 Question

Groop,

I am now working my way through Marvel #97 (as you know, for the 1st 
time) and have a question. On page 25 Hannah has just "received" a spell 
and has grown to the the size of the Giant. She and the Giant face one 
another. Look at her eyes in the first frame of this page, they are 
white. Was this intended or was it an afterthought, or what (Mr. Luth 
must have used an "eraser")? Is it a representation of a superhero 
evil-eye or something?
