Only if you leave it sharing.  You can turn that off, as well as down
to 0.1k in most torrent programs.  Not everyone leaves them sharing.
Torrents have improved sales of smaller distribution bands and artists
as well.

And I'd like to clearly state I do not plan to download the torrents
of the Groo comics in case it appearedI was planning to.
