About your "Indiana Jones Adventures" work...
 
Will that be a quarterly or bimonthly book and when would issue  #2 be 
released?    
Is Sergio interested in drawing an "Indy" story?   
Any particular "Indy" era you will focus on?  (1930s - Original Indy  
Trilogy, the 40s or the 1950s/Indy 4 era)?
 
Those "Adventures" books from Dark Horse are great!  The each  have 80 pages 
worth of comic stories!  
 
(the recent "Star Wars Adventures" series got nominated for an Eisner  award 
too!)

Hi,  Groop.  Sorry I've been too busy to participate lately.  Here's some  
stuff that might interest you...

1. Sergio, Stan, Tom and I will of  course be at the Comic-Con in San 
Diego.  I'm hosting sixteen (!)  panels.  The ones that will most 
interest you folks (i.e., the ones  with Sergio on them) are a SERGIO & 
MARK PANEL on Thursday at 1 PM,  the QUICK DRAW! panel on Saturday at 
11:15 AM and a MAD MAGAZINE panel on  Saturday at 3 PM.

This year for QUICK DRAW!, the cartoonists will be  Sergio, Scott 
Shaw!...and the third cartoonist will be the one guy Sergio  is a little 
afraid of when it comes to being able to whip out fast,  hilarious 
cartoons.  So this is one you won't want to  miss.

I'm also hosting a GOLDEN AGE PANEL, spotlights on a half-dozen  people, 
three panels about cartoon voices, a JACK KIRBY panel, a DAVE  STEVENS 
tribute and a bunch of others.  If you want to find me when  I'm NOT 
hosting a panel, I will most often be found at the booth of Harry  N. 
Abrams, the publisher that put out my Jack Kirby book.

I am only  open to hugging by people who are really, really cute.

2. I will also  be at the CONvergence in Minneapolis from July 3 thru 
July 6.  The  entire Groo Crew will be at the Mo-Kan Comics Conspiracy in 
Kansas City on  September 20 and 21.  Then I'll be at the Mid-Ohio Con in 
Columbus,  Ohio on October 4 and 5.

3. This weekend, Sergio is drawing the cover  for the collected paperback 
of GROO: HELL ON EARTH and I'm writing the  foreword.

4. Work is proceeding slowly on GROO/CONAN but it is  proceeding.  No 
release date yet.  No news on the movie,  either.

5. As you know, Sergio and I continue to write THE SPIRIT for  DC.  And 
I'm taking on writing the INDIANA JONES ADVENTURES  paperbacks for Dark 
Horse, starting with #2.
