We plan on take the Metro in on Tuesday. They are opening at 4am. We'll take
it in from Rockville. And yes we plan on being there at 4am.

Larry Thanks for the invite, but if even if you weren't chaperoning 50 kids,
it would be nigh impossible to plan something.

Also, I'm going to be in the Palm Beach area of FL in March 15-20? Anyone
up for dinner? Also, will be looking for something to do at night. Not a
club situation, though. Any thoughts? Spring Training will be session then.

Sean,

I've read, and collect every Groo comic, except for reruns. If it sounds
like sarcasm it's more like satire from reading and collecting every MAD
too. The Government hasn't made too many wise decisions recently.

I'm a bit concerned about the millions of folks who will visit our area
only to find that the main roads into DC from VA, will be closed on that
important day. I commuted on those roads for 30 years. Too many folks may
get stranded. On the news today, they are suggesting that folks who drive,
go around the Beltway and come into DC via Maryland streets.

I just hope Larry and his school group, and other Groopies, have their
travel plans in stone. I'll be available afterward, to retrieve any strays.

John,

I live in the DC area, just outside the Beltway in Northern Virginia, and
will not even think of leaving the house on Inauguration Day. The Secret
Service has announced that all the bridges into DC from Virginia, and the
Interstate highways inside the Beltway will be closed to traffic. I have no
idea how people will get to work to serve the visitors who walk from their
hotels 20 miles away.

They just announced that they'll allow people to walk across the bridges
if they aren't carrying coolers or food or something.

The weather will probably be cold, but no storms. Good luck. I'll look
for your hat on the local news coverage.

Any Groopies in the Washington DC area? My buddy and I are heading down
there for the inauguration.

I know it would be nigh impossible to meet up. I'll be the one (of 2.5
million) in the Groo hat.

We don't have any ticket to any events, but we do have a motel room in
Gaithersburg.

It should be fun just to be there. I'm praying for temps in the 40F range. I
doesn't look to good. If it rains/snows who knows what will happen.

SPOON!
