[Groop] Where were you?

Don't remember exactly when it was, but I was with my older brother at
a friend of his' house, just hanging around trying not to be the
annoying little brother. To keep me quiet and get me out of the way,
the friend passed me a couple of issues of Groo saying "check this
out, it's by that guy from Mad magazine". I thought they were very
cool, but living in a relatively small town with no comic shop I had
no way of getting any more. Fast forward a few years to when I moved
away to go to university... I was wandering aimlessly about the local
independent record/comic shop when I stumbled across their Groo back
issues. Bought one (Fountain of Youth, part II - took me a couple of
years before I finally got my hands on part I) to see if it was as
good as I remembered, and next thing you know I'm coming back
regularly to buy more and more back issues, and setting up a standing
order to get the new issues as they come in. This was towards the end
of the Epic run, think I came in just before Wager of the Gods. But
to this day, I still can't for the life of me remember which issues
were those first couple I read...
