I don't think they mind "NFS" fan art. I got permission for it from Mark for my Rufferto necklace (which I kept for me!) and a "Groo Crew" icon (which now belongs to Gary); Stan Sakai also is OK with fan art of Usagi. But do ask first.

OK I understand about selling fan made GROO stuff for profit (That BAD).

What about posting stuff, like a groo drawing, or a kit bashed model I made, for free, just as a fan work?

I'm asking this because I make card models and post them so others can see and make them.

I was going to ask Mark if he was OK with my making some Groo models, and posting pics (possibly a do it yourself MIlk Carton kit). Absolutely nothing for sale, and not accepting any donation.

I don't know if it is a copy right issue if I'm not selling anything, but anyone could see, or download, the photos. I have even seen a few fan made groo things go around the groop over the years.

Also if I post pictures of my Dark Horse Groo figures after I dig them out of my basement and paint them, is that an issue?

I don't want to step on anyones toes, but how does fan art, versus for profit, make a difference with copyright?

Confused as always;

If anyone wants to see some of my stuff check out;
Blue Milk Special.com downloads section (I do not work for the strip, I'm just a fan)
Or BlueMilkCarton on Facebook.

Rick Loomas is still a pirate.
