Thanks Gary (and thanks to Kaytee also);
A card model (or paper model) is a model made out of printed card stock paper. Similar to Origami, but more like a plastic model kit in assembly. Just about everything can be replicated in paper (sometimes looking better than professionally made kits)
A Kit Bashed, or Garage Kit model, is a model hand made or adapted from parts to make an original work.
- I think the distinction is that Kit bashed refers to modifying one thing into another (say changing your Rick Loomas action figure into a non-pirate normal person). A Garage Kit can be made from clay or carved from wood, basically not so many pre made modified parts.
I make milk cartons with character faces (among other things). Mostly Star Wars, but I have done other things (Samurai Jack, Sesame Street, Dr. Doom, Jason etc...).
I'd love to make some Groo models, I'll ask Mark before I start anything, as a courtesy.
If there are any artistic Star Wars fans in the Groop I have a do-it-yourself carton contest, for fun, posted on Blue Milk Special. E-mail me for details.
Last time I'll plug myself for a while;
BlueMilkSpecial.com (Fan made downloads)
CitrusComics.com (Fan made downloads)
BlueMilkCarton on Facebook lower resolution of most everything I've done.
Thanks
Tom Gatto.

Hey Tom!
As I understand it: No Sale = No Problem!
So making some Groo thing for fun and showing it to others and telling them how to make it with no exchange of funds or anything is just fine. Showing off your painted Groo figures is just fine. Showing off original Groo art that you bought is just fine.
Also, selling your figurines that you painted or selling your original art is just fine.
Making copies of your original art and selling the copies: NOT fine.
Gary G.
PS What is a “card model” What is a “kit bashed model?”
PPS I want to see a Groo model made of milk cartons. A loooong time ago I made a 30 foot milk cartoon boat with 2000 milk cartons and won the show division of the SeaFair Milk Carton Boat Derby. It was a one-seventh scale model of the USS Constitution. (Also, there was a pirate ship and I think Rick Loomis was on it.)
