[Groop] Groo Book arrived (Gary appreciation thread continued)

You are all very welcome.  It seems they are all arriving safe and sound.  
 
Magnus, I never carried more than 10 at a time from the IDW booth to Sergio's table.  After packaging, I took them to the post office in two batches using a hand truck that Sergio had.  
 
Just as I was starting the second run to the PO, a Con Volunteer tried to stop me from wheeling the hand truck through the crowd.  Fortunately, George had suggested I get permission from the "Freemen" who were in charge of that kind of thing, which I had done, so it all worked out.  The Con Volunteer blustered a bit, but I've been dealing with guys like that for over 30 years, so it really wasn't much of a problem.  A bureaucrat by any other name...

My book arrived in the mail today. I live in Sweden so that means some international deliveries made it at least!


Gary, I'm impressed. I mean really really impressed with your effort to make this happen.


I bought this book on-line and never really bothered to check size or weight.. I figured it was either standard comic size (but hardcover) or maybe album size... but it's HUGE! And heavy! How many of these did you carry!? I would think it would be an inconvenience to pick up one extra let alone a whole bunch of them for people all around the world.


Thank you should also of course go out to Sergio who personalized them all for us.

I sent this to the whole Groop because I thought Gary needed a second appreciation thread :)
