manhattan is the spot.

house...i hear it's hard to hear deep house out there now other than @
shelter etc and i've never been to house clubs in nyc, only bars & dnb
clubs...but, i can say that walking outside from just about any starting
point will undoubtedly lead you to fun no matter which direction you
take...make sure you do the bar hopping thing in nyc, it truly can't be
beat and the museums are a no-brainer. you must go to the met, the
guggenheim, the whitney, etc. sigh...i miss the east coast...enjoy = )

3 tips:

1. Buy a 7-day metropass.... $21 gets you everywhere.
2. Wear your most comfy broken-in sneakers, you will get blisters
otherwise
3. Go to shelter on a night when Timmy Regisford is NOT playing.

Other than that, go to a museum, stroll around central park, go to
Chinatown. Check the archives ;)
