Well.. I got my autographed Groo copy (I'm not sure how many as my collection is
at my home town) with Gary's help... Gary ask Sergio to sign it for me and I
got a personalized autograph with my name and I'm proud of it even though I'm
not an autograph collector... (Gary should have told sergio and Mark about me..
) Thanks gary... As I live on the other side of the world, I'll never be able to
meet sergio and Mark at the cons (except if I go to the US which seems more
difficult lately for me to get the visa as I'm from Malaysia, one of the black
listed country by the state department). I missed a chance to meet Sergio once
here as I got the news a bit late when Sergio visited Malaysia in 1996 (with the
invitation of The Sun newspaper when they reprinted groo on their newspaper).
So I think, those who want to get autograph fom Groo crews but cannot afford to
travel to the cons should join this list... I think those who are familiar with
Sergio and Mark will help them... If they joined this list, for sure they are
hard core groo fans and will not sell it on e-bay... if not, he will get a lot
of flames... and will unsubscribe. BTW, Mark did tell about this mailing list
and www.groo.com in the groogram quite a few times... plus, even if they cannot
afford to buy computers and internet access, they still can have e-mail account
like @yahoo.com or @hotmail.com and access their e-mails from cyber cafes... and
it's quite cheap...
So I think Sergio's decision to limit 3 autographs per person is a reasonable
one and for those who cannot afford to come to the con can get help from groop
members as long as they are hard core Groo fans who joined this Groop mailing
list.... which left them with no reason to buy it at e-bay from those who
merchandised Sergio's autograph without his permission...
BTW... anybody of you a fan of a TV series "Farscape"...? I like it as it's
different from other science fic. series and more towards Star Trek....
