Gary,
I know there is still some time to the SD Comic Con, but I was
not sure how long it might take people to organize themselves to
coordinate efforts. I know how long it seems to take some people to
simply respond off list to coordinate a trade/sale. I also figure there
might be a need for extra time when considering mailing payments out to
you, etc.
I totally understand your suggestion of waiting though.
Considering (once again) you stepped up to the plate in the first place
by offering to buy magnets for Groop members not in attendance, you
probably have many other things on your mind at the moment, and would
prefer to wait so you have less things to concentrate on. That is
totally acceptable and understandable. It just better not be an attempt
to avoid extra coordination efforts on your part by allowing people to
forget about the offer when "later" comes around. ;)

	To your considerations:
1) Even though the "Misses" enjoys to read Groo with me on occasion, I
kind of doubt she would really want to go to San Diego for the Comic Con
as a honeymoon. Besides, if I were to go I would probably need to bring
a bike to ride each day from a farther-away motel, since it sounds like
hotels closer to the area might be booked up sooner than later, and my
girlfriend is not exactly such an avid cyclist as I am.
2) I think my girlfriend would notice that long of a wrong turn...
especially since she is the only one with a driver's license at the
moment. I do tend to navigate with the maps in hand when she does drive,
but even then, I do not think I could fool her. She is bound to read one
of those darn road signs. Too bad she is not like Groo before issue
100... I could just tell her to follow the pointier signs. :)
3) I would have totally been up to biking to San Diego as a messenger
run, unfortunately I actually stopped my profession as a cycle courier
just before last Xmas. (part of the steps to move, etc) When I told my
mom, she was happier about that than the one-of-a-kind sterling silver
necklace I designed and made her by hand. Sheesh. Either way, after two
months of not riding for a living I probably could use a LONG bike ride
to keep me in shape.
No matter what, I will certainly keep my options open about the
SD Comic Con. :)
