[Groop] Groop Where were you?

How do you people remember all this stuff?!?

I don't remember which was my first Groo, but I'm pretty sure it was
one of the Pacific ones. When I was a kid (1950-60) I read all kinds
of comics: Archie, Donald Duck, XMen, Hulk, Beetle Bailey, etc. And
somewhere in there I found Groo. As I've grown up, there are only two
that I still make a point to hunt down and buy: Knights of the Dinner
Table (role-playing gamers -- hilarious) and Groo. Funny - I don't
recall ever going into a "comic shop" when I was a kid. Most of my
comics were bought off the rack at the grocery store or a newsstand.
And sadly I don't remember where I found my first Groo. It may well
have been at a game convention. I've been going to those since around 1971.
