To get tickets for this years Comic Con my wife and I got in line at 3:00 in the morning on Saturday.  Around 5:00 they moved us all into a big room where we sat with about 1,500 other wanting tickets until tickets went on sale at 8:00.  We were near the front so we were able to purchase our two 4 day passes with preview night at 8:45 so I don't know how many of those people in the room were able to purchase their tickets.  Now there's the challenge of getting a hotel room. In past years Comic Con put the hotel reservations up in February.  It's now March and all they've put up is hotels that are quite a distance from the convention center.  Here's the link for the hotels up for now:  http://www.comic-con.org/cci/cci_hotel.php  We like to be closer to the convention center so I'm now playing the waiting game and hope when they do put the other hotels up that we get one.  This will be my 20th year at Comic Con and over the years I seen all there is to see so my wife and I decided that this will be our year.  It's just too complicated to get tickets and find a place to stay for it to be worth it to try this all over again for 2013.  Looking forward to my last Comic Con, ever.
